Doing the Charleston!

My grandma used to spontaneously place her hands on her knees and cross them back and forth mimicking a move from the 1920’s social jazz dance called the Charleston.

Mary and I didn’t bust any moves, but we did recently take a much needed break to rest and rejuvenate in the Charleston, South Carolina area with family.

Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in Charleston, SC

Walking the paths in the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens was just one of the many relaxing moments we all shared.

We enjoyed pausing our hectic pace which allowed us time to reset, refocus, and recharge.

Soaking up the sun with the sand between our toes on Sullivan’s Island Beach is always a must when visiting the east coast.

This was the perfect setting to craft goals going forward for our PurpleButterfly99 Shop. This change of scenery inspired some fresh ideas and sparked creativity to brainstorm new products which we hope will impact our business’s success. We look forward to implementing these new trends in the near future.

Metto Coffee & Tea was, of course, an essential retreat activity during our week of reflection, strategy, and meaningful connection.

No matter where you are in life, take time to dance.
